Estate Planning, Elder Law, Probate and Elder Mediation in Denver and Along the Front Range
I have a client-centered law practice. What does that mean? It means that I strive to meet clients on their own individual terms, to assist in providing them information and strategy to help them make choices about how to move forward with a plan, and to guide them toward achieving goals that reflect their values and wishes. People who are in the midst of a health crisis or are facing a chronic or terminal illness also benefit from determining what is important to them during such challenging times.
My practice is limited to estate and life planning, elder law and mediation, and wills, trusts and probate matters.
I take pride in my ability to work effectively and compassionately with people who are facing difficult decisions in their lives, are grieving losses or mourning the death of a loved one, confronting a health crisis, or are in conflict with family members about the needed care for an aging parent or loved one. Some of the legal and mediation services I provide include:
Estate planning for all types of individuals, couples and families and provide elder law services for individuals and where appropriate, for families;
Representation in probate court for estate administration, trust administration and uncontested guardianship and conservatorship proceedings;
Family facilitation and mediation services for families facing conflict or otherwise exploring alternatives to litigation;
Disability (durable powers of attorney) and end-of-life planning for individuals and small business professionals; and
Mediation services in contested guardianship, conservatorship, estate and trust administration matters.
I love my work and I particularly enjoy working with a variety of elder care professionals to use, where I can, a “holistic” approach to estate and life planning. What I mean by “holistic” is an approach that incorporates what many clients look for – a means to preserve important relationships.
